CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Hannah Lamos placed 30th overall and the Lady Jackets finished 14th out of 47 teams in the 31st Annual All-Ohio Intercollegiate Women's Cross Country Championship at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.
Lamos covered the 5,000 meters in 18:45 on a day the weather forecasters were spot on. It was 52 degrees with blowing rain thanks to 20-25 mph winds. The junior's time was the second-fastest among 92 NCAA Division II / NAIA participants.
Rachel Wong finished 64th overall in the field of 317 runners in 19:12.
Neola Putnam was 110th (19:44),
Grace Campbell was 113th (19:45), and
Abby Wong was 135th (20:03) to close out the CU scoring. The rest of the line-up included
Jennifer Hollander (152nd; 20:11), and
Jessica Smith (159th; 20:19).
Miami repeated as overall champion with 36 points and Dayton was the runner-up with 46. Cedarville totaled 448 points.
Malone won the 14-team NCAA Division II / NAIA portion with 38 points. Ashland was next with 62 points followed by the Lady Jackets with 89.
