DEFIANCE, Ohio - Cedarville erupted with four unanswered goals including three in the second half to gain a 4-1 result at Defiance for its first victory of the campaign.

The Jackets spotted the home team, also nicknamed the Yellow Jackets, with the first goal of the match in the 27th minute. Kristi Wolff netted her first collegiate tally 10 minutes later on an assist from Kelsey Watkins to forge a 1-1 tie by intermission.

Morgan Ziegler was credited with the game winner when she cleaned up a corner kick in the 53rd minute. Arianna Pepper's long free kick found the net in the 67th minute while Amanda Bunton completed the scoring shortly thereafter.

Keri Sachtleben notched her first victory in goal after making two saves.

Cedarville had the edge in shots overall, 15-5; shots on goal, 8-3; and corner kicks, 6-1. Defiance falls to 1-2 overall.
