NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Walsh kept the Yellow Jackets from getting a shot off in the final seconds to pull out a 73-72 win at Alumni Arena.

The outcome spoiled a spirited comeback by the Jackets, who trailed 67-57 with 5:55 left in the game. CU took the lead 72-71 when Austin Foote hit a three-pointer at the 1:30 mark.

The Cavs needed just 10 seconds to score what was the eventual game-winning basket. Walsh missed a jumper and the front end of a one-and-one in the final minute giving CU one last chance.

Following a Walsh foul and a Jackets' timeout with 7.7 seconds remaining, Cedarville put the ball in play across from its bench. However, the Cavs knocked it away at the top of the key in the final seconds to secure the win.

Zimmy Nwogbo totaled 20 points and 10 rebounds for his third straight double-double. Foote scored 17 points for Cedarville, 10-7 overall.

Walsh, 17-3, won its fifth straight. The Cavs are 35-1 on their three-year old home floor.
