CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville surrendered its lowest point total of the year with a 69-49 win over Urbana before an Alumni Weekend gathering of 2,521 in the Callan Athletic Center.
The Jackets entered giving up 74 points per contest. They allowed the fewest in a game since opening the schedule with a 76-51 decision over Roberts Wesleyan on Nov. 12.
Zach Brown banked in a jumper at the halftime buzzer for a 32-23 difference. Cedarville started the second half with a 10-1 run to take control with the final score being the largest margin of the night.
Brian Grant led four players in double figures with game-highs of 16 points and seven rebounds.
Austin Foote tallied 13 markers, Brown finished with 12, and
Daniel Hickman came off the bench with 11.
The Yellow Jackets, 12-7 overall and unbeaten in seven home games, shot 51 percent from the field while holding the Blue Knights to 33 percent. Urbana dips to 5-12.
