Christian Alexander scored two goals and the Yellow Jackets ran by Georgetown, 5-0, before a large Homecoming crowd for their 10th victory of the season.
Cedarville, 10-1-1 overall, outshot the Tigers 20-7 for the match and 9-1 in shots on goal. The Jackets are unbeaten in five home matches this fall.
Justin Santoro finished off back-to-back passes from
Ryan Thurman and
Connor Scott for the game's first goal in the 12th minute. It stayed that way until
Eric Newman made a long run before feeding
Joshua Hanif for a score in the 32nd.
Alexander got his first of two goals before the intermission.
Daniel Rigby got him the ball in the left side of the box and he ripped a low, left-footed shot inside the far post to make it 3-0 in the 40th.
The visitors held CU off until deep into the second half when Alexander scored unassisted in the 78th minute.
Grant Kovac headed in
Dillon King's corner kick in the 88th to account for the final.
Ethan Dewhurst and
Curtis Ranck combined for the shutout. The Tigers fall to 2-10.
