KWC outlasts Jackets in five

Box Score OWENSBORO, Ky. - Kentucky Wesleyan rallied to win the last two sets and hand Cedarville its first Great Midwest Athletic Conference setback.

The Panthers claimed the result 18-25, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21, 15-8.

"We made way too many errors today," explained Head Coach Doug Walters. "Hitting errors, plus serving errors, plus ball handling errors, plus blocking violations added up to 53 of KWC's 106 points.

"KWC did a great job of taking advantage of our inconsistency and played great! We're looking forward to getting back in the gym on Monday and focusing on reducing our mistakes."

Hannah Wagner pounded 14 kills and turned aside five blocks. Stephanie Rogers drilled nine kills.

Tori Thompson racked up 10 blocks to go along with seven kills. Amanda Bell tallied seven kills and 11 digs.
