Box Score CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets recovered after dropping the first set to Wittenberg to take the next three to complete a long journey back to the .500 mark.

Cedarville defeated the NCAA Division III No. 13 Tigers 20-25, 25-12, 25-20, 25-13.

The Lady Jackets, 12-12 overall, were 3-11 four weeks ago. They've since won 9 of their last 10 matches.

Three nights removed from their biggest win of the season against Indianapolis, and playing in front of a smaller Fall Break crowd, it took a while for the hosts to get going.

Wittenberg never trailed in the first set to comfortably win by five points. After that, it was all Cedarville.

The Jackets built leads of 12-1 in the second set, 21-7 in the third, and 20-11 in the fourth.

Hannah Wagner pounded 16 kills with three blocks. Abby Shelton ripped nine kills to go along with 12 digs.

Stephanie Rogers and Tori Thompson chipped in eight kills apiece. Rogers also had a team-high four blocks.

Maddie Anderson handed out 30 assists with 15 more coming from Kristin Cardwell. Angela Becker totaled 20 digs and Amanda Bell had 13.

CU makes the short trip to Central State on Saturday for a G-MAC contest at 1:00 p.m.
