Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 MASON, Ohio - Pre-season favorite Cedarville began Great Midwest Athletic Conference play with a pair of convincing victories in the G-MAC Volleyball Crossover at Courts4Sports.

The Lady Jackets breezed by Ursuline 25-13, 25-17, 25-16. They followed that up with a 25-12, 25-10, 25-14 verdict over Ohio Valley.

Amanda Bell pounded 12 kills and hit at a .417 clip in the opener. Hannah Wagner and Abby Shelton added eight kills apiece.

Maddie Anderson handed out 25 assists and Angela Becker tallied 18 digs in what was CU's first action in 10 days.

The Lady Jackets overwhelmed OVU with Shelton and Tori Thompson pacing balanced play at the net with nine kills each. Hannah Wagner had eight kills and turned aside five blocks.

Cedarville posted an impressive .430 attack percentage as a team. Anderson recorded 23 assists, Becker came up with 14 digs, and Stephanie Rogers served up four aces.

The Lady Jackets are 6-11 overall and 2-0 G-MAC. The play Alderson Broaddus at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and conclude the event against Davis & Elkins at 4:30.
