G-MAC leaders perfect at Crossover

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 MASON, Ohio - The Lady Jackets soared to the top of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference standings with two more sweeps to close out the G-MAC Crossover played at Courts4Sports.

Cedarville brushed aside Alderson Broaddus 25-17, 25-17, 25-18 before ousting Davis & Elkins 29-27, 25-12, 25-13.

The Jackets, 8-11 overall and 4-0 G-MAC, won all four of their Crossover matches in straight sets. Furthermore, they allowed 18 or fewer points in every set except one.

Amanda Bell did most of the damage with 14 kills against Alderson Broaddus. Hannah Wagner hammered 10 while Tori Thompson chipped in nine kills with three blocks.

Maddie Anderson racked up 23 assists and six service aces. Kristin Cardwell added 13 assists and Angela Becker tallied 19 digs.

CU struggled in the first set in the D&E match prior to taking command. Bell buried 11 kills with nine each coming from Thompson and Wagner. Stephanie Rogers totaled four blocks.

Anderson was good for 27 assists and five more aces. Cardwell produced 13 assists and Becker had 16 digs.

The Lady Jackets return to non-conference play on Tuesday at Ohio Dominican, 7:00 p.m.
