@CedarvilleVball tightens grip on G-MAC lead

Box Score ELKINS, W.Va. - The Lady Jackets played their final regular season match away from home and registered a three-set sweep at Great Midwest Athletic Conference foe Davis & Elkins.

Cedarville disposed of the Senators 25-21, 25-11, 25-18 to stay one game up on Kentucky Wesleyan in the standings. The Jackets are 17-13 overall and 10-1 G-MAC.

The attack was balanced with Stephanie Rogers finishing with 10 kills and two blocks. Abby Shelton had seven kills with two blocks while Amanda Bell contributed six kills and two blocks.

Angela Becker came up with 25 of the team's 48 digs to go along with four service aces. Maddie Anderson totaled 15 assists and three aces, and Kristin Cardwell chipped in 10 assists.

The schedule favors Cedarville the rest of the way with the final four matches at home. The last non-conference tilt is Tuesday with Indiana East paying a visit at 7:00 p.m.

The Lady Jackets will wrap it up with dates against Central State (Nov. 9), Trevecca Nazarene (Nov. 15), and Kentucky Wesleyan (Nov. 16).
