Box Score CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets stumbled out of the gates, but found the momentum to sweep Indiana East in a non-conference women's volleyball match played in the Callan Athletic Center.
Cedarville, 18-13 overall, won for the 15th time in the last 17 outings with a 25-20, 25-19, 25-12 result.
"We started a little rough," quipped Head Coach
Doug Walters with a smile. "But, it ended very well tonight. Now we can concentrate on the G-MAC the rest of the way."
The Lady Jackets turned around a 10-6 deficit in the first set with nine unanswered points - all coming behind the serving of
Maddie Anderson. She dished out 21 assists for the night and tacked on three more aces to her all-time school record.
Lori Inkrott matched Anderson with three aces. Cedarville totaled 11 as a team.
Amanda Bell pounded 11 kills to lead the attack.
Stephanie Rogers,
Tori Thompson, and
Hannah Wagner added six apiece.
Angela Becker had 12 digs.
