CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Three wins at the bottom half of the singles line-up coupled with points at #1 and #2 doubles gave Cedarville a 5-4 non-conference victory over Bethel (Ind.) at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.

The Lady Jackets upped their record to 13-6 overall on what was a frigid day for tennis.

The hosts took a 2-1 advantage after doubles. Brooke Johnson and Joy Dice rallied for a 9-7 win at the #1 position while #2 Lily Schuler and Courtney Heydt took an 8-1 decision.

In singles, #4 Melissa Stoltzfus won by scores of 6-4, 6-1. Heydt was a 6-0, 6-1 winner #5 and #6 Maryssa Herbert took a 6-1, 6-1 result.

Bethel drops to 12-6.
