Quotable: Head Coach
Pat Estepp"Give Malone credit - they played well. We killed ourselves the last eight minutes of the first half which seems to be a habit for us so far.
"We only scored on four of our last 22 possessions of the first half tonight and four of the last 17 in the first game. We need to take a look at everything we are doing with those possessions.
"Our offense struggled all weekend. We rebounded well tonight and forced 19 turnovers, but we have so many things just compounding each other.
"We have to start knocking down shots, making free throws, and taking better care of the ball. It's difficult to defend when we are constantly in transition defense off a miss or a turnover.
"We played way too much one-on-one tonight. We will not win games if we don't share the ball and get each other shots. We also have to develop an identity on defense. We can't continue to let people shoot the percentages they're shooting against us and give ourselves a chance to win."
