Quotable: Head Coach
Pat Estepp"We knew this was going to be a tough game. Ferris is a very good, veteran team.
"It was the same issues for us. The biggest problem was we let them go on a run toward the end of the first half
"We made a couple lineup changes trying to give us more offense and experience coming off the bench. But, we let them get too many easy shots in that run and our same offensive issues gave us problems.
"It's tough to win shooting free throws like we are (6-for-17) as well as our shooting from the floor. We forced 23 turnovers and had 14 steals but only got nine points off turnovers.
"Our effort was there tonight. I hope the break for a few days will be good for our guys. We have to correct some things as a staff in these runs and we need some guys to start shooting like they are capable of."
Numbers Game:- Bazzoli was one point shy of his career-high of 19 set last year vs. Wilberforce.
- The Jackets forced a season-best eight more turnovers than they committed (15-23).
- Faubion had previously grabbed 10 rebounds in a game one time - last season against Ohio Valley.
- Ferris State was credited with 13 blocks shots.
- This was the first meeting between the two schools.
