Box Score CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Davis & Elkins capped a rally on a three-pointer with 13 seconds left and then held off the Yellow Jackets for a 62-61 G-MAC result in the Callan Athletic Center.
The outcome snapped a three-game winning for Cedarville, 8-10 overall and 1-3 G-MAC, who was striving to finally reach the .500 mark.
The Jackets had their chance. Since taking the lead with 16:15 left in the contest, they held it until the Senators' game-winner.
The final tie was 52-52 with 7:45 to play and CU scored the next five points. It was still a 59-54 margin following two free throws by
J.C. Faubion with 3:20 remaining.
However, D&E finished on an 8-2 run. Cedarville did not score a field goal in the final four-plus minutes of the contest.
Easton Bazzoli registered a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds to go along with four assists and three steals. Faubion chipped in 10 points and four assists.

Pat Estepp"In the first half, defensively, we just weren't very urgent. It wasn't that they were scoring a lot, but we weren't very active defensively and offensively it was even worse.
"We came out in the second half and started moving the ball better. We finished with 17 assists and it may be the most we've had all season.
"We passed the ball pretty well, but at the end of the day we didn't convert and they made plays when they had to - give them credit."

- Bazzoli posted his second career double-double. The other was his freshman season - 11 points and 11 rebounds vs. Wilberforce.
- Cedarville recorded a season-high 17 assists.
- The all-time season series is even, 3-3. The two teams meet again in Elkins, W.Va. on Feb. 27 in the regular season finale.
