Box Score CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Two-time defending G-MAC champion Alderson Broaddus defeated the Yellow Jackets, 77-58, in the Callan Athletic Center.

The Battlers, 13-6 overall and 5-1 G-MAC, shot 53 percent from the field and maintained a 46-30 rebounding advantage.

Cedarville, 8-11 and 1-4, struggled with its shooting from the outset. The hosts trailed 36-22 at the intermission and never got any closer the rest of the way.

J.C. Faubion came off the bench with a team-high 17 points.

Easton Bazzoli added 12 points while Robert Okoro chipped in nine.

The Yellow Jackets forced 16 turnovers and committed just eight. It's only the second time they've been in single digits this season with the previous low mark of seven at Walsh.

"Give them credit. Greg's (Zimmerman) team is predominantly the most well-prepared in our league and we've got some good coaches, but nobody outcoaches him. I got outcoached today and it was a clinic.

"We couldn't get anything going. We missed I don't know how many layups. Some of it is the physicality of it. Their big and their physical.

"We didn't turn it over and we forced them into 16 turnovers, but other than that, we didn't win another stat.

"We've been defending pretty well, but we didn't tonight especially in the second half. They just got whatever they wanted.

"There were some times when the press was effective and we did take care of the ball. We have to keep those things going as we attempt to get some shots."
