Quotable: Head Coach
Brett Faro
"Any conference win at this point is very important and tonight was no different. I thought we saw moments of very good stuff and we saw stretches where we struggled to find a rhythm.
"Certainly getting two goals in the first half on a smaller turf field takes a little pressure off and allows the game to open up a bit more.
"We need to continue to improve our group defending and will need to execute well against a tough Trevecca group on Saturday. We want to finish well and keep getting better as we head into the last few games of the regular season."
Five Facts:
- Cedarville attempted just one corner kick the entire game.
- Schluter's goal was the first of his career.
- The Jackets are 4-3 on the road this fall.
- CU is 9-0 all-time vs. Kentucky Wesleyan with a 28-3 goal differential.
