Pat Estepp"I was really proud of our effort and how we battled back in the second half. We just shot ourselves in the foot with turnovers and missed free throws plus we missed a lot of shots in the paint again.
"Our guys fought hard, but you can't spot a veteran team 18 extra possessions with turnovers and be 10-for-22 at one point in the game at the free throw line and come away with a win.
"We kept fighting and clawed our way back into the game, but we had just dug ourselves too deep of a hole.
"I really appreciate the opportunity to have this game on national television and think our young team represented themselves well with their effort."
Numbers Game:- Faubion's double-double was his third of the season and his first since going for 35 points and 10 rebounds vs. Cincinnati Christian on Dec. 5.
