Box Score CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Walsh found the net off a corner kick in the 86th minute to steal a 2-1 G-MAC men's soccer result at Cedarville.
The loss sends the Yellow Jackets down to 7-8 overall and 6-6 G-MAC with two games remaining.
The Cavs were awarded a penalty kick in the 10th minute when a hand ball was called on the hosts inside the penalty area.
CU controlled the contest for the next hour which included a
Zac Muir header that went off the cross bar.
The Jackets finally leveled the match in the 55th minute.
Nick Marculo delivered a low, hard cross that was touched by
Brian Wolverton and tapped in by
Mason Hecklinger.
It remained 1-1 until Walsh's go ahead tally. Cedarville created opportunities in the final minutes highlighted by
Brian Wolverton being stopped from point blank range with 25 seconds left.
