Box Score CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Derek Braak returned to the lineup with a pair of goals and the Yellow Jackets downed Lake Erie, 3-0, in a G-MAC contest played on Senior Night.
Cedarville got back to the .500 mark overall at 8-8 and is 7-6 in the G-MAC with the regular season finale looming at 11th-ranked Ohio Valley on Tuesday.
Braak, who had missed the previous three contests with an injury, immediately made his presence felt in the fifth minute when he finished off a pass from
Cole Butaud from 10 yards.
After withstanding pressure from the Storm to begin the second half, Braak netted his team-leading 10th goal in the 64th minute during a scramble in the box.
Mason Hecklinger was credited with an assist.
Brian Wolverton completed the scoring in the 74th with an assist from
Nick Marculo.
The Jackets used three keepers who combined to get the shutout.
Graham Sachtleben played the first half with
Carter Selvius and
Sam Barnard splitting duties in the final 45 minutes.
