CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets head to Louisville, Ky. to face host Bellarmine and Indianapolis to begin the 2017 men's soccer season.
CU and Bellarmine meet up on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. EDT. Following an off day, the Jackets face Indianapolis on Saturday at noon also at Owsley B. Frazier Stadium.
Head Coach
Brett Faro is back for his fifth season at the helm. Since taking over the program, Cedarville has won three G-MAC trophies, finished as the runner-up once, and made its first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division II Championship.
Faro's teams have averaged 13.5 wins per season. The Yellow Jackets finished 12-8-3 overall and 7-3-2 G-MAC last fall.
NCCAA All-America midfielder
John Schwien is one of the top returnees. The senior was also named to the G-MAC First Team.
Junior forward
Derek Braak earned a spot on the NCCAA Midwest Region Second Team while senior defender
Sean Reilly was Academic All-Ohio Division II Second Team.
Cedarville begins G-MAC play on Sept. 6 by hosting Ohio Valley at 7:00.

Bellarmine
