TIFFIN, Ohio -
Ashlyn Huffman netted 19 points as one of four Lady Jackets to score in double figures during a 79-67 win at Tiffin in the first G-MAC road contest of the season.
Cedarville, 8-1 overall and 5-0 G-MAC, extended its winning streak to eight in a row.
The visitors needed to shoot a season-high 58 percent from the field and didn't establish some breathing room until the fourth quarter. They built the lead to 14 points on three occasions.
Baylee Bennett hit the team's only two three-pointers and finished with 16 points while freshman
Emily Chapman provided 16 more off the bench.
Regina Hochstetler scored all 10 of her points in the second half.
Alli Roh chipped in seven points and six rebounds.
Stinger Notes:
- Huffman's six rebounds matched a season-high (Quincy).
- CU has made at least half of its shots from the field in six consecutive games.
- While shooting its best percentage of the season, the Jackets were not credited with an offensive rebound.
- Tiffin had four players foul out compared to two for Cedarville.
- The outing was the first of seven straight away from home.
- Cedarville is the last remaining undefeated team in G-MAC play.
- The Lady Jackets hold a 29-17 advantage in the all-time series.
- The two teams play again in the Callan Athletic Center on Feb. 16.
