CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Head coach Pat Estepp is pleased to announce two important additions to the 2018-19 Yellow Jacket basketball program. During the recent NCAA signing period Kollin Van Horn submitted a National Letter of Intent to attend Cedarville University while Seth Dittmer will transfer from NCAA Division I University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to play for the Yellow Jackets.

Kollin Van Horn
Kollin Van Horn is a senior at Fairland High School in Proctorville, Ohio. The 6-foot-8, 230 pound post player averaged 15 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots per game last season while earning All-Ohio First Team recognition. He was also a North/South participant, the District 13 Player of the Year while being named Associated Press and All-Conference First Team.
As a junior, Van Horn garnered All-Ohio special mention, District 13 and AP Second Team honors, and was an all-conference performer.
A solid sophomore campaign by Van Horn brought Coaches District 13 and Associated Press First Team honors as well as all-conference first team accolades.
Van Horn is a defensive stalwart and dominant player inside, but has dramatically improved his outside game recently, adding an effective three-point shot.
Kollin is the son of Randy and Missy Van Horn of Crown City, Ohio. He is tentatively planning on majoring in electrical engineering at Cedarville.

Seth Dittmer
Seth Dittmer, a 6-foot-9, 210 pound forward, joins the Yellow Jackets for the final two years of his collegiate career as a transfer from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Dittmer appeared in seven games for the Panthers during the 2017-18 season as the team finished 16-17 overall with an 8-10 mark in the Horizon League. As a freshman, Dittmer saw playing time in two games - his collegiate debut on November 11, 2016 against Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) and in Milwaukee's Horizon League Tournament contest against Detroit Mercy on March 3, 2017.
Dittmer is a homeschool graduate and played for Southeast Wisconsin Homeschool Athletics (SWCHA) where he averaged 13 points, 9.9 rebounds, five blocks, 1.6 assists and 1.5 steals per game in his final season with the Saints. He was named NCHBC Honorable Mention All-Region, second team all-conference and to the NCHBC All-Defensive Team as a senior. Dittmer was a two-time Homeschool State All-Tournament Team and MVP as a senior.
Seth is the son of Job and Marie Dittmer of Pewaukee, Wisconsin. He plans to pursue journalism, advertising and media studies at Cedarville.
