CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets knocked down a school-record 17 three-pointers and overwhelmed Ohio Valley with an explosive second half for a 99-60 G-MAC win at the Callan
Athletic Center.
Cedarville outscored the Fighting Scots 60-28 over the last two quarters to improve to 16-3 overall and 12-1 G-MAC.
Seven different players made shots from beyond the arc. The Jackets made 13-of-15 field goals in the fourth quarter alone feature seven-of-eight from team while totaling 38 points.
Ashlyn Huffman led four players in double figures with 20 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
Regina Hochstetler had four triples and 16 points.
Abby Wolford scored 15 while
Ellie Juengel chipped in 11.
Stinger Notes:
- The previous school record of 16 three-pointers made in one game occurred twice (Malone, Alderson Broaddus).
- Huffman registered her third 20-point game of the season.
- The Jackets committed a season-low five turnovers and had ten or fewer in each of the last five outings.
- It's the only regular season meeting between the two schools.
- CU has won all ten games ever played in the season series, 9-0.
