CEDARVILLE, Ohio - No. 6 seed Findlay will play at No. 3 Cedarville for the first time in 17 years when the two sides tangle in the opening round of the G-MAC Men's Soccer Championship on Saturday.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. EST with live coverage on
Stretch Internet and the
G-MAC Digital Network.
The Oilers come to town at 9-6-2 overall and 6-6-2 G-MAC while the host Yellow Jackets are 10-2-6 and 7-2-5 G-MAC.
The teams played to a 2-2 draw in Findlay on Oct. 10 which set the school record for most ties in a season at five. A sixth deadlock was later recorded at Malone.
All three regular season meetings between the two schools since UF joined the conference have been staged on the Oilers' home turf.
The last time Findlay came to Cedarville was for a non-conference game in 2002 resulting in a 2-1 win for the Oilers. The Yellow Jackets lead the all-time series, 10-6-1, which began in 1980.
CU is 7-1-3 in home games this season.

- 2:00 p.m. - #5 Walsh (10-5-3) at #4 Tiffin (8-4-5)
- 7:00 p.m. - #8 Malone (4-6-6) at #1 Lake Erie (17-1)
Winners advance to Roger Glass Stadium in Dayton, Ohio for the semifinals on Nov. 14 with the final on Nov. 16.
The G-MAC Tournament Champion earns an automatic berth to the NCAA Division II Championship.
