No. 5 Nova holds off Yellow Jackets

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - NABC Division II No. 5 Nova Southeastern shook off Cedarville in the final minutes for a 91-84 decision at Rick Case Arena.

The Sharks, 7-1, were coming off of their only setback of the campaign when they were the top-ranked team in the country.

The Yellow Jackets, 6-5, had their four-game winning streak snapped.

CU recovered from a 12-point first half deficit for a 39-38 advantage at the break, but Nova took the lead for good midway through the second period.

Conner TenHove's three-point play cut the difference to 69-66 at the 7:35 mark. The Sharks responded with ten straight points in the next three minutes to pull away.
