CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Lady Jackets rained down a school-record 23 three-point field goals on Senior Day to outshoot Ursuline, 102-80, in a G-MAC contest to zip up the regular season home schedule.

Cedarville has won all 13 games to date in the Callan Athletic Center this winter while improving to 20-6 overall and 16-4 G-MAC.

The outcome also guaranteed the Lady Jackets a first round home game in the G-MAC Tournament on March 5.

The senior quintet of Baylee Bennett, Regina Hochstetler, Ellie Juengel, Kelly Poole, and Abby Wolford were honored prior to the game and were in the starting line-up.

Then, CU went crazy from beyond the arc. They made 14-of-27 in the first half en route to a 54-39 lead. They finished 23-of-40 for 57.5 percent and shot 52.1 percent overall.

Ashlyn Huffman totaled 21 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Emily Chapman nailed all five of her three-point attempts for 15 points.

The senior trio of Hochstetler (18), Bennett (16), and Wolford (11) also scored in double figures.

Stinger Notes:
  • It's the fourth 20-win campaign in the past five seasons.
  • Nine different players made a three-point field goal.
  • Chapman's 5-for-5 showing from deep tied the school record held by Head Coach Kari (Flunker) Hoffman.
  • The Jackets knocked down all seven of their attempts from beyond the arc in the fourth quarter.
  • The school-record 18th three-pointer came on Lexi Moore's only attempt of the season.
  • The previous school record of 17 triples was set on Jan. 26 at home vs. Ohio Valley.
  • CU has buried 50 threes in the last three outings (13-14-23).
  • Eight other Division II schools have made at least 20 treys in a game in 2018-19.
  • The home team committed fewer than ten turnovers for the sixth straight time.
  • Cedarville has won 21 consecutive regular season home games dating back to last year.
  • The Lady Jackets won both meetings vs. UC and lead the series, 22-4.
