CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Branden Maughmer fashioned his first career triple-double to lead the Yellow Jackets to an impressive 101-77 G-MAC win over Tiffin at the Callan Athletic Center.
Maughmer totaled 20 points to go along with career-highs of 11 rebounds and 10 assists for Cedarville, 1-1.
Kollin Van Horn was good for 20 points and five blocked shots.
Conner TenHove (15),
Quinton Green (14), and
Isaiah Speelman (12) also scored in double figures.
The Yellow Jackets, who finally had their core lineup healthy, never trailed in the contest.
The hosts erupted for 58 points in the second half by shooting 57 percent from the floor featuring an 8-of-11 showing from behind the arc.
Cedarville outscored Tiffin 28-13 in the final eight minutes including one spurt of 13-1 over a 3:10 span.

- Maughmer's triple-double was the first by a Yellow Jackets since Hall of Famer El Seabra (15-10-11) did the trick at Mount Vernon Nazarene on Jan. 14, 1992.
- Green, Maughmer, TenHove, and Van Horn combined for 69 points, 26 rebounds, and 15 assists.
- That quartet missed the season's first game vs. Ohio Valley.
- Cedarville owned the points in the paint category, 48-26.
- The Jackets committed just seven turnovers and forced 13.
- CU controlled the boards, 44-32.
- The Yellow Jackets hold a 40-36 lead in the all-time series.
- The rematch in Tiffin is set for February 6.
