CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Conner TenHove posted a double-double and Cedarville knocked down 18 three-pointers to bury Ohio Dominican, 99-72, in G-MAC men's basketball action at the Callan Athletic Center.
The Yellow Jackets, who were playing for the first time in exactly two weeks, improved to 3-2 overall and 3-2 G-MAC.
TenHove finished with 23 points and 13 rebounds to go along with five assists. He nailed six-of-seven three-pointers.
Quinton Green hit four treys and had 23 points while
Isaiah Speelman added 23 points with four threes.
Branden Maughmer supplied 13 points, eight assists, and four steals. As a team, Cedarville finished 18-for-28 (.643) from long range.
Stinger Notes:
- The .561 overall field goal accuracy was a season-high.
- The school record for most three-pointers made in a game is 20 set twice (Rio Grande, Ohio Mid-Western).
- Ohio Dominican had not played since edging CU in overtime, 62-57, in Columbus on January 5.
- Ironically, the Jackets didn't make a three in that game (0-for-15), but hit 10 of their first 15 bombs at home.
- Seven of the Yellow Jackets' 16 players on the roster were unavailable.
- This was the 90th men's basketball meeting between the two schools.
- Cedarville leads the all-time series, 65-25.
