Conner TenHove scored seven of his 22 points in overtime and the Yellow Jackets left Lake Erie with an 80-71 G-MAC victory at the Osborne Center.
It was the third consecutive meeting and the fourth in the last five the two schools have needed OT to decide the outcome.
Cedarville hosts the Storm on Monday at the Callan Athletic Center in a COVID makeup contest.
TenHove and
Jacob Drees knocked down back-to-back three-pointers to open the extra session and the Yellow Jackets held the lead the rest of the way.
TenHove converted seven-of-eight free throws and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds for CU, 4-2 overall and 4-2 G-MAC.
Branden Maughmer produced 22 points, eight rebounds, and five assists in 44 minutes of playing time.
Quinton Green added 17 points with seven boards.

- Cedarville never trailed in the final 27 minutes of the contest.
- Lake Erie's .351 field goal percentage was the lowest by an opponent this winter.
- CU forced more turnovers (11-14) for the fifth straight time.
- TenHove is averaging 19.3 points and 10.3 rebounds in the last three outings.
