NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Quinton Green paced a balanced offense with 15 points as the Yellow Jackets posted a 69-56 G-MAC win over Trevecca inside the Trojan Fieldhouse.
Conner TenHove produced 13 points and nine rebounds for Cedarville, 2-2 overall and 2-2 G-MAC.
Branden Maughmer added 13 points and
Jayvon Maughmer had a season-high 11.
Jacob Drees was credited with seven assists.
The Jackets never trailed in the contest. They led by as much as 18 points in the first half and by 19 on two occasions in the second.
Six different players made a three-pointer and the team drained a season-high 12 shots from deep.
Stinger Notes:
- Seven different players recorded an assist.
- After going 0-for-15 outside the arc as a team at ODU, Green made the team's first attempt in the first minute.
- CU launched 34 triples and 27 two-point shots in the game.
- The lead was 19-8 six-plus minutes into the contest and never got below ten the rest of the way.
- The Yellow Jackets lead the all-time series, 15-7.
- Trevecca is scheduled to visit Cedarville on February 11.
