FINDLAY, Ohio -
Liene Miller pounded 23 kills as the Lady Jackets upset Findlay in five sets in a G-MAC match played at the Croy Physical Education Center.
Cedarville outlasted the Oilers 22-25, 25-21, 25-21, 21-25, 15-12 to improve to 4-9 overall and 3-6 G-MAC.
The Oilers entered the contest 11-2 overall and 7-1 G-MAC plus had easily swept aside Ohio Dominican the night before.
Riley Hensley and
Payton Krahn buried 16 kills each and
Lauren Willow added 11 kills with six blocks.
Mallory Delamarter was good for 17 digs.
Haley Goff handed out 31 assists and
Maddie Lloyd contributed 24.
Stinger Notes:
- A six-point run in the fifth set gave Cedarville the lead for good, 7-2.
- Krahn and Miller totaled 14 digs apiece while Goff added 12.
- Emily Jastrzemski came off the bench with three blocks.
- The Jackets' .289 attack percentage was their second-best of the season (.333 vs. Bemidji State).
- There were 21 ties and ten lead changes in the match.
- Miller is averaging 4.23 kills per set in her last ten outings.
- Findlay holds a 26-20 advantage in the all-time series.
