CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Head coach
Pat Estepp is pleased to announce a key addition to the 2021-22 Yellow Jacket basketball program. Brayden Sipple has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Cedarville University and play for the Yellow Jackets.

Brayden Sipple
Sipple, a 6-foot-4 guard from Blanchester, Ohio, is a four-year performer at Blanchester High School in Blanchester, Ohio. He recently passed a major milestone on the court when he became the first player in school history to score 2,000 career points. Sipple now ranks as the all-time top prep scorer in Clinton County.
Sipple, an All-Ohio Second Team selection last season as a junior when he led the state in scoring, set the school record earlier this year for most points in a game with 49. He currently ranks in the Top 15 of all-time high school scorers in Ohio prep history.
Sipple has made more free throws than all but five high school basketball players in Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) history. Franklin's Luke Kennard, who played at Duke and is now a member of the NBA's Los Angeles Clippers, is first all-time with 760.
Many aspects of the school as well as its basketball program came into Sipple's final decision. "Cedarville campus is amazing. It is a very beautiful campus and it felt like home. It is also a great place to get a great education. The coaching staff is great. Coach Estepp and the coaching staff made me really feel wanted at Cedarville and that was a big part when it came to committing there."Â
Coach Estepp added, "We are really excited to add Brayden to our program! We have been recruiting him since his sophomore year. He has been one of the best scorers in the state the last three years. He is a great fit for our program and has a tremendous upside as a player!"
Sipple is also an all-state performer in football with school records in most touchdown passes in a season (27) and most yards passing in a season (2,009).

Brayden, a National Honor Society student, is the son of Rob and Danielle Sipple and Jennifer Sipple of Blanchester, Ohio.
