FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Indiana Tech pushed across a run in the bottom of the ninth inning to edge Cedarville, 3-2, in a non-conference game.
The first two Warriors walked, both moved up on a wild pitch, and the next batter was intentionally walked.
Following a strikeout, the hosts plated the winner on an unearned run.
Adrian Navarro-Melendez homered and
Daniel Sewak had an RBI single for the Yellow Jackets, 3-3.
Sewak and
Payton Eeles registered two his each while
Blais Hale doubled.
Stinger Notes:
- Austin Brown extended his hitting streak to six in a row.
- Eeles stole his team-leading 10th base of the season.
- Starting pitcher Noah Cline allowed one earned run in four innings with five strikeouts.
- This was the first of a nine-game road swing for the Yellow Jackets.
