WILSON, N.C. -
Noah Schleinitz took a no-hitter into extra innings before Northwood prevailed, 1-0, in the first game of a doubleheader in the Tobs College Classic at Fleming Stadium.
The Timberwolves also took the second game, 11-4.
Schleinitz entered the eighth inning having not allowed a hit in what was scheduled to be a seven-inning contest.
Northwood's leadoff man singled ending Schleinitz' day. He finished with six strikeouts and three walks.Â
The Timberwolves pushed across the winning run one out later.
Payton Eeles recorded two of Cedarville's four hits.
Northwood scored seven times in the second inning of game two to take control.
Lucas Rotello went 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI for the Jackets, 2-3.
Blais Hale socked a solo home run.
