CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Brandon Doehne and
Noah Schleinitz powered the Yellow Jackets to a 10-2 romp over Findlay to salvage a split of their G-MAC doubleheader.
That came after the Oilers pounded the hosts, 19-2, in the opener.
Doehne did the damage at the plate. He went 3-for-3 with a triple, three RBI, and a run scored.
Schleinitz, 2-2, took care of business on the mound by going all seven innings with nine strikeouts.
Micah Stewart added two hits including a double, two runs scored and an RBI.
Westin Blattner tripled and scored twice while
Jacob Clements added two runs for Cedarville, 11-15 overall and 8-10 G-MAC.
Findlay clubbed seven home runs and scored in each of the nine innings of the first game.
Stinger Notes:
- Clements, Stewart, and Blais Hale hit safely in both games.
- Lucas Rotello had two of CU's eight hits in the opener and tallied a sacrifice fly in the nightcap.
- The Jackets played at home for the first time in 21 days.
