LOUISVILLE, Ky. - USTFCCCA Division II No. 6 Cedarville placed tenth at the Louisville Classic which featured more than 30 DI programs.
The Lady Jackets posted an average time of 17:51.3 for the 5,000 meters led by
Alayna Ackley, who placed 52nd of 378 competitors in 17:39.0.
Savannah Ackley (62nd; 17:44.7),
Hannah Rhem (70th; 17:51.8), and
Naomi Herman (84th; 17:57.9) also broke the 18-minute barrier.
Others to score for CU were
Remington Hobson (93rd; 18:02.8),
Audrianna Enns (111th; 18:12.1), and
Bethany Sholl (128th; 18:16.6).
Furman won the 41-team event with 44 points and West Virginia was the runner-up with 92.
Grand Valley State, ranked No. 2 in the latest Division II poll, was third (132 points), No. 5 UC-Colorado Springs was fourth (198), with the Jackets tenth (349).
