HIGHLIGHTS
CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville avenged a previous setback at Trevecca with a win on Senior Day in the regular season finale at the Callan Athletic Center.
The Lady Jackets recognized
Mallory Delamarter,
Riley Hensley,
Payton Krahn, and
Hannah Willow before posting a 25-17, 21-25, 25-19, 25-19 victory.
Freshman
Cassi Shields, who totaled a career-high 21 kills the night before, pounded 23 more to lead CU, 13-14 overall and 11-6 G-MAC.
Hensley hammered 12 kills while Krahn tacked on 11 to go with a team-high 16 digs.
Kaley Matney was good for 51 assists and
Haley Koch turned back four blocks.
Stinger Notes:
- Janae Heegaard came off the bench with eight kills.
- Delamarter contributed 13 digs and Willow had three blocks.
- There were 20 ties and eight lead changes.
- Cedarville finished with a 6-6 record at home.
- Trevecca had beaten the Jackets in four sets in Nashville on Sept. 17.
- CU leads the all-time series, 17-7.
