Lucas Rotello belted home runs to support winning pitcher
Tanner Gillis in an 8-4 victory in the second game of a G-MAC twinbill against Walsh.
The Cavaliers posted a stunning 7-6 walkoff result in the opener at Mount Union's Rafeld-Rogers Field.
Gillis, 2-1, went the distance with seven strikeouts and no walks. He needed just 88 pitches in seven innings.
Perry, Rice, Rotello,
Payton Eeles,
Sam Punzi, and
Chase Springmeyer all had two hits apiece for the Yellow Jackets, 7-9 overall and 1-2 G-MAC.
In the first game, Walsh trailed 6-5 with no outs and the bases empty in the bottom of the seventh inning before rallying with two runs to win it.
Rotello had three hits and two RBI, Eeles added two hits, and Punzi hit a two-run homer - his team-leading sixth of the campaign.
