HIGHLIGHTS
CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Walsh rallied from a 2-1 deficit to beat the Lady Jackets in a five-set G-MAC match at the Callan Athletic Center.
The Cavaliers won by scores of 28-26, 16-25, 19-25, 25-19, 15-9.
Cassi Shields piled up 17 kills and three blocks for Cedarville, 3-6 overall and 1-1 G-MAC.
Cam Davenport added 14 kills, 18 digs, and three blocks while
Riley Hensley put down 11 kills.
Haley Koch and
Hannah Willow each rejected a team-high four blocks.
Kaley Matney dished out 47 assists and
Mallory Delamarter paced the back line with 23 digs.
Stinger Notes:
- CU had three set points in the opening set.
- The match featured 37 tie scores and 14 lead changes.
- The visitors never trailed in the fifth set.
- It was the G-MAC opener for Walsh.
- The Cavaliers lead the all-time series, 41-19.
