CEDARVILLE, Ohio -
Jacob Drees has been selected the G-MAC and NCCAA Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Drees, a 6-foot-7 senior forward from Hilliard, Ohio, average 17 points, 12.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 3 blocks as Cedarville split a pair of G-MAC games.
He totaled 14 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, four blocks, and four steals in a 69-68 setback at Ashland - his fourth consecutive double-double.
Drees followed with his first career triple-double in a 85-72 win vs. Findlay with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists to go along with two more blocks.
For the week, he shot .609 from the field, made 4-of-7 three-pointers, and converted both of his free throws.
The Yellow Jackets, 11-4 overall and 4-3 G-MAC, play their only game of the week on Thursday at Ohio Dominican with tipoff at 7:30 p.m. EST.
