CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The Yellow Jackets built a five-run lead and then held off West Virginia State, 6-5, in the first game of a split doubleheader.
Charleston posted a 12-5 decision over Cedarville in the second contest of the day.

Ethan Milburn, 2-1, allowed one earned run with five strikeouts in six innings of work.
Reid Hale pitched the ninth inning to get his first save of the season.
Six different players registered base hits led by
Alan Perry with two.
Kale Ebling drove in three runs.
Charleston scored runs in each of the first seven innings to complete a three-game sweep.
Daniel Sewak went 3-for-5 with a double for the Yellow Jackets, 3-10.
Kale Ebling tallied two hits while Perry doubled and scored twice.
