GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - Cedarville scored six runs in the ninth inning before Tusculum secured a 10-7 non-conference result at Pioneer Park.
The Yellow Jackets, 3-11 overall, had the potential go ahead run at the plate when the game ended.
Alan Perry totaled two hits with a double, two RBI, and a run scored.
Blais Hale had two hits and two RBI with
Lucas Rotello adding two hits.
Hunter Laurell contributed a base hit, two walks, and run scored.
Stinger Notes:
- Three CU players were hit by pitch - Hale, Kale Ebling, and Daniel Sewak.
- Tusculum posted four-run innings in the third and fourth.
- Five of the Pioneers' hits were for extra bases.
- Perry has hit safely in six of the last seven outings with five two-hit games.
- Ebling leads the team in runs scored (13) and stolen bases (6).
- Ten of the Jackets' 11 road games have been played against an opponent with a winning record.
