HIGHLIGHTS | TOURNAMENT INFO
CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Jackets defeated Glenville State, but then dropped a five-set marathon to Palm Beach Atlantic to close out the Cedarville Invitational with a 2-2 mark.
PBA rallied to win what was the only five-set contest in the ten-match tournament.
The Sailfish pulled out a 20-25, 25-16, 18-25, 26-24, 15-12 decision.
Freshman
Madelyn Hensley put down a career-high 16 kills with
Cassi Shields (14) and
Greta Blakemore (11) also in double figures.
Kaley Matney contributed 48 assists and equaled
Haley Koch with a team-high five blocks.
In the afternoon match, CU put away Glenville 25-18, 25-13, 19-25, 25-13.
Janae Heegaard pounded 11 kills and Shields chipped in 10. Matney doled out 31 assists and
Talia Felton had 12 digs.
