HILLSDALE, Mich. - Cedarville's three-year reign as G-MAC champions came to an end as Walsh nipped the Lady Jackets at Hayden Park.
The Cavaliers finished with 50 points with CU totaling 52. Hillsdale was third with 85 points.
Three Lady Jackets were named to the All-G-MAC First Team with their top ten performances.
Emily Walsh was third in 21:40.1 for the 6,000 meters,
Corinne Lynch finished seventh in 21:59.9, and
Aubrey Hayes was ninth in 22:06.0.
Two others picked up second team recognition. The tandem included
Alyson Enns (14th; 22:17.3) and
Helen Rhymer (19th; 22:32.8).
Sydney Yoder came in 22nd (22:43.1) and
Audrianna Enns was 25th (22:48.0).
Cedarville heads to the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional on November 9 in Romeoville, Illinois.
