FINDLAY, Ohio - Caroline Schaeckenbach finished fifth in the pentathlon at the Findlay Opener with one of the best performances in program history.

The graduate student from Iowa City, Iowa totaled 3,099 points - No. 5 on the Lady Jackets all-time Top 10 list.

There were 19 total pentathlon competitors at the Robert A. Malcolm Athletic Center.

Schaeckenbach placed seventh in the 60 meter hurdles (9.58) and fifth in the high jump (4-11; 1.51 meters).

She then took 11th in both the shot put (29-5.25; 8.97m) and long jump (15-11.75; 4.87m).

Schaeckenbach surged up the leaderboard in the final event by winning the 800 meters in a time of 2:29.44.
