XENIA, Ohio - Lewis scored six unanswered runs after the fifth inning to defeat Cedarville, 8-3, at the Athletes in Action Sports Complex.
The second game was rained out with the two sides scheduled to play a pair of nine-inning contests on Saturday.
The Yellow Jackets plated a pair of unearned runs in the second inning to forge a 2-2 tie.
Lucas Rotello scored when
Kale Ebling's fly to left was misplayed for a three-base error.
He came across with the tying run on an RBI ground out by
Kaden Wilde.
Then, CU took the lead in the third when
Brendan Colley singled home
Eli Henderson.
The Flyers grabbed the momentum in the sixth by batting around and scoring four times.
Ebling and Rotello registered one hit and one run apiece for Cedarville, 2-8.
