CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Freshman
Jordan Geiger tossed a complete game for his first collegiate victory as Cedarville downed Thomas More, 6-2, in the second game of a G-MAC doubleheader.
The visiting Saints won the opener, 10-6.
Geiger, 1-1, threw 116 pitches in the seven-inning contest allowing two earned runs with three strikeouts.
The Yellow Jackets scored their runs on just four hits, seven walks, and three TMU errors.
Boston Torres had two hits including a two-run single and
Eli Henderson scored three runs.
In the nine-inning first game, Thomas More overcame a 5-2 deficit with a six-run fifth inning.
Alex Neff doubled, tripled, and drove in four runs. Torres had two hits and two runs while
Lucas Rotello added two hits.
