EASTLAKE, Ohio - Winning pitcher
Jensen Wagoner and
Boston Torres sparked the Yellow Jackets to a 3-1 win at Lake Erie in the second game of their G-MAC doubleheader.
The host Storm held on for a 6-5 decision in the opener at Classic Park.
Wagoner, 3-4, went the distance without allowing an earned run on five hits with three strikeouts.
Torres had two hits including a two-run home run in the fifth inning to break a 1-1 deadlock.
Eli Henderson had two hits and scored twice,
Lucas Rotello provided two hits with an RBI single, and
Max Doepker chipped in two more hits including a double.
In the first game, Lake Erie snapped a 4-4 tie with a run in the seventh inning en route to the one-run win.
Henderson, Torres,
Kale Ebling, and
Caleb McKinion recorded two hits apiece for Cedarville.
