MIDLAND, Mich. - USTFCCCA Division II No. 5 Cedarville claimed five of the top eight finishers and won the G-MAC Women's Cross Country Championship at Northwood University.
 
It's the Lady Jackets' fourth title in the past five years and ninth overall in program history
 
CU had eight runners inside the Top 20 and totaled 27 points. Defending champion Walsh (67) was the runner-up with Findlay third (76).
 
Emily Walsh (20:47.0), 
Aubrey Hayes (21:18.7), and 
Alyson Enns (21:32.5) finished third, fourth, and fifth, respectively, on the Fisher Family Trails 6,000 meter course.
 
They were joined on the All-G-MAC First Team (Top 10 finishers) by 
Hannah Hartenburg (7th, 21:49.2) and 
Caroline Hamilton (8th, 21:53.7).
 
All-G-MAC Second Team runners were 
Savannah Golding (14th, 22:04.9) and 
Audrianna Enns (16th, 22:11.6).
 
Hamilton was named G-MAC Freshman of the Year while Head Coach 
Jeff Bolender was recognized as G-MAC Coach of the Year.

- The team's 1:07 spread between the first and fifth runners was the smallest in the field.
- CU finished with a total time of 1:47:22, averaging 21:29 for the 6,000-meter course.
